On Wednesday, April 27th, Claris announced a new program available to select customers known as the Claris Problem Solvers Circle. Clients that enroll in the Claris Problem Solvers Circle will receive a discounted two-year site license with access to the full Claris product line, including a preview of the new Claris Studio.
This article will explain what the program is, which organizations are eligible, which organizations would benefit most from the program, and how to get started.
Claris Problem Solvers Circle
The Claris Problem Solvers Circle is currently a program limited to the first 500 customers seeking enrollment. Enrolled Claris clients receive a discounted two-year site license. The site license expands FileMaker access to all individuals in an organization, which is great for expanding your existing FileMaker solution(s) or adding new solutions to perform other tasks or work in different departments. More information on the Claris site license can be found here.
If you’ve been wanting to add more users to your existing FileMaker solution(s), this option may offer a significant benefit and discount for your organization. Participating organizations would gain access to the full Claris platform, including Claris Connect, as well as access to an exclusive preview of the new cloud-native Claris Studio.
What is Claris Studio?
Claris Studio is an all-new cloud-based development platform. More information on the specific offerings of Claris Studio can be found in the publicly-available and recorded Claris Studio Announcement webinar.
Claris Studio will be released this fall and will include pre-built hubs to streamline development of certain tasks, such as purchase order and work order creation. Claris Studio will allow for anonymous users to login in a way that wasn’t previously possible. We will provide updates as we continue to find out more about Claris Studio.
Who is eligible for the Claris Problem Solvers Circle?
To be eligible for the Claris Problem Solvers Circle, you must be a current Claris client with licenses expiring in the next two years. Claris clients that already have site licenses are not eligible for enrollment in the program, nor are clients with expired licenses. Additionally, clients that have purchased FileMaker licenses in a retail setting and/or through the SBA program are also not eligible for the Claris Problem Solvers Circle Program.
Who benefits from the Claris Problem Solvers Circle?
Clients that would benefit the most from the Claris Problem Solvers Circle are those wishing to extend and expand upon their current FileMaker licensing setup. This includes clients that would like to give all employees access to Claris FileMaker, develop a new module, or create a file for another department. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a discounted site license for a current client that would like to explore what the Claris platform can do for their organization by going all-in.
Depending on your current licensing setup, the Claris Problem Solvers Circle can offer a significant discount for organizations looking to expand their Claris licensing. We are happy to discuss what this might look like in your organization.
